SARAH LONGENECKER

Sarah is a podcast producer, photographer, and web designer for Shifting Climates. She finds comfort and dissonance in the familiar smells of cow manure and gasoline, and is particularly interested in the ways the “natural” and “unnatural” intertwine.

Two significant experiences for Sarah were a Conservation Photography course where students created projects in opposition to the Atlantic Coast Pipeline, and a semester program called The Oregon Extension where she studied Environmental Justice and philosophy. Sarah is drawn to Climate Communication because she sees this time in history as one of great convergence and possibility–an opportunity for rebirth and re-examination of humanity’s covenant with God.
