Karenna’s work focuses in on the points where faith, social justice, and environmental health intersect. She has a keen awareness of how power works in our world, and her passion in fighting for a more just society is infectious.
Zacarías Bernabé Martínez works for an organization called ANADES in El Salvador. ANADES stands for Asociacíon Nuevo Amanecer de El Salvador, which roughly translates to mean a new dawn for El Salvador.
ANADES, where Zacarías works, promotes sustainability, gender equality, economic entrepreneurship, and community development.
Veronica Kyle is the Chicago Outreach Director for Faith in Place, an organization that provides tools and resources for faith communities to become more environmentally sustainable.
Faith in Place is an interfaith organization based in Illinois. Their mission is to create both healthier communities and a healthier Earth through relationship building, education, and advocacy.
Veronica has multiple degrees in gender studies, religion, and the social sciences. She is passionate about making Earth care conversations accessible and welcoming to all groups of people. In our short meeting with her we were struck by her wisdom and warmth.
